Last week, I got a chance to try the new Weekend Riviera Brunch Buffet at FIG & OLIVE at Fashion Island.
The buffet-style brunch is now available on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-3pm and offers guests an endless selection of signature dishes from Salmon Crudo with orange, grapefruit, dill, lemon, scallions, and Arbequina olive oil to customizable omelets and whole roasted Provençal style chicken at the carving station.

Last week, my friend Jackie and I visited Islands Restaurants to try some of their featured food and drinks for the summer.
Although we went in the middle of the week at dinnertime, the staff was friendly and the service was efficient.
