The 11th Annual Newport Santa Pub Crawl Raising Funds for Project Access

The Newport Beach Santa Pub Crawl is an annual holiday fundraising and friend-raising event sponsored by Future Leaders of Orange County (FLOC) for nonprofit Project Access.

The Annual Newport Beach Santa Pub Crawl is in the 11th year of raising money for Project Access.

Last year more than $13,000 was raised, and a total of about $50,000 has been raised since the program began.

Project Access strives be the leading provider of vital on-site health, education and employment services to low-income families, children and seniors.

Their goal is to give low-income families the tools needed to break the cycle of poverty, become healthier, further educated and financially stable.

Supporters include FLOC, Yelp and OC Weekly.

The event is organized by Pub Crawl founder and volunteer Chris Pope and FLOC founder and volunteer Shawn Wehan.


There are two pub crawl routes with bars that have agreed to provide drink specials to all patrons that purchase wristbands and wear Santa-themed hats and/or holiday attire during their scheduled time slots.

The event begins Saturday, December 10 at 9 PM and until Sunday, December 11 at 1:30 AM.

Wristbands are available for $15 before 12/9, and $20 on 12/10.  To purchase a wristband, click here.

Pick up wristbands at Newport Landing and Woody’s Wharf (9-10pm) on the day of the event. Please bring a copy of your pre-sale receipt or buy your tickets at the event.
