Located in central Irvine, Bistango is the perfect spot to stop for lunch or an after-work drink. I hadn’t been in a few years and recently got to stop by and sample the menu at Bistango’s new fresco dining area, Bistango Gardens.

As apart of their Summer Block Party series, Bistango Gardens is offering plates from a dedicated menu with featured wines, craft beers, and sangrias Wednesdays-Fridays through September 26th.

“We are proud to debut out Summer Block Parties being held every Wednesday – Friday at Bistango Gardens,” said spokeswoman Karyn Ghoukassian.  “This year, we’ve decided to make it a self-contained and separately operated part of the restaurant where our food and beverage offerings will be prepared and served right there.”

I really liked the vibe of the patio with its relaxing lounge vibe replete with palm trees, a fountain, and outdoor cooking.
