On September 4, Boudin Bakery, creator of The Original San Francisco Sourdough Bread™, will open a new fast casual restaurant, Boudin SF, in Huntington Beach.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, Boudin SF is known for its delicious variety of both healthy and hearty dishes, leveraging seasonal, organic and locally-sourced ingredients.
Sourdough enthusiasts, hungry surfers, and neighborhood businesses will delight over Boudin SF’s hallmark fresh baked breads which are expertly paired with fresh salads, soups, classic and artisan sandwiches, burgers, and more.
Before it opens to the public, Boudin SF welcomes the community to partake in “Dine & Donate” at the restaurant on August 30, September 2, and September 3.
Boudin SF will host free breakfast, lunch and dinner and in turn, guests are encouraged to make a donation to McKenna Claire Foundation, a local non-profit working to cure pediatric brain cancer by raising awareness, increasing community involvement and funding research.
Boudin SF will give away 1,500 meals in total. “Dine & Donate” is open to the public and will fill up quickly.
On opening day, the first 100 people, known as “Bread Winners,” who enter the restaurant will receive a complimentary year’s supply of Boudin sourdough bread.
The overall value of the bread giveaway is $130,000. Boudin enthusiasts are known to camp overnight and Boudin will create a festive environment with entertainment throughout the evening including movies, trivia and snacks.
Boudin SF has reserved the first spot in the Bread Winners line for Orange County Rescue Mission (OCRM), a local non-profit and the county’s most comprehensive private homeless services provider.
Serving over 100,000 meals each month, OCRM also provides shelter, health care, guidance and training to those in need throughout Orange, Riverside and San Diego Counties.
